THE COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO
written by Alexandre Dumas, adapted by Kiernan McGowan & Hannah Todd
Our latest Classic-In-Action is a tale of bloody, bloody revenge.
Travel from a forgotten prison cell to French high society as Edmond Dantès conspires to kill the people who wronged him. And We Happy Few knows that revenge is a dish best served with a signature cocktail . . .
Wronged and double-crossed by those he once considered friends, Edmond Dantes goes to extreme lengths to achieve the perfect revenge in Alexandre Dumas' classic tale of daring escapes, vast riches, sword fights, plot twists, and dishes served ice cold. We Happy Few's Classics in Action Series returns with a fresh adventure story that you will not want to miss!
Show contains some scary content, but is appropriate for all ages. Running time is approximately an hour.
This production's initial March/April 2020 run was cancelled due to COVID-19. Count of Monte Cristo was fully rehearsed and closed before it officially opened on its final preview performance. We look forward to an opportunity to share the work that the artists put into it when it is safe to do so.
