Kiernan McGowan (Director) is an actor, director, and theatre educator. As a director: Macbeth; Much Ado About Nothing; The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (Act One Act Now) Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead; The Stonewater Rapture; Almost, Maine (Generic Theatre Company); Polish Joke; Waiting for Lefty; Bye,Bye, Birdie (Carolina Friends School); The Revolutionists (assistant, Catholic University). He holds an MFA from Catholic University and is a company member with We Happy Few.
Jenna Berk (Marina) is delighted to make her We Happy Few debut. Previous shows include: Constellation Theatre Company: The Skin of Our Teeth, Avenue Q (Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Ensemble), Urinetown (Nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress); Folger Theatre: Richard III, District Merchants (u/s); Taffety Punk: Titus Andronicus; and has worked with WSC Avant Bard; Keegan Theater; Pinky Swear Productions; LiveArtDC; No Rules Theatre; 1st Stage and Brave Spirits Theatre Company.
Grant Cloyd (Pericles) was previously seen in We Happy Few's Dracula. Elsewhere, Grant has appeared in Quotidian Theater Company's Hobson’s Choice, Night Seasons, and The Night Alive, Flying V’s Brother Mario, Imagination Stage’s BLUE, Venus Theatre’s Fur, and the Washington Rogues’ Agents of Azeroth. He has also performed with Rep Stage, Brave Spirits Theatre, Rorschach Theatre, and 1st Stage. Grant has an MFA in Acting from Catholic University.
Jennifer (Thaisa) is honored work with We Happy Few for the first time! Recent shows include: June in Chicago at Keegan Theatre; Beth in Mack, Beth also at Keegan; The Welders' Helen Hayes Award winning play: Girl in the Red Corner (Brinn), Longacre Lea: Fear (Lissa), Rorschach Theatre: Electric Baby (Natalia), Folger Theatre: Midsummer Night's Dream (Titania). She has also worked with Rorschach Theatre, American Century Theater, Taffety Punk, Constellation, and WSC Avant Bard.
Kerry (Dionyza) is the Marketing and Programs Director for WHF. For WHF, Kerry has adapted and directed Henry V and Chalk and acted in Dracula, A Midnight Dreary, and The Winter's Tale. Other DC credits: Peepshow; Beertown; TOAST (dog & pony dc), and Love's LaBEERs Lost (LiveArtDC). Kerry has won awards for her work in on A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity (Director). Kerry received her MFA in Theatre Pedagogy from VCU.
Jon Reynolds (Cleon) is an actor, deviser, and playwright born and raised in the Washington, DC area. He appeared onstage with WHF in Dracula, A Midnight Dreary, and Chalk. He is also a conspirator with dog & pony, where Jon has worked on TOAST, A Killing Game, Beertown, Separated at Birth, and COURAGE. Jon has been part of the Washington, DC theatre community for over 15 years, and was a member of National Players, as a performer and Company Manager.
Dave Gamble (Simonides). This is Dave's first show with We Happy Few. He has worked at the Folger, Theatre Alliance and Molotov in DC. In Baltimore he has done close to twenty productions with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, most recently appearing as Terence/Bernard Warde in Red Velvet.
Charlie is happy to return to his second We Happy Few show! Former credits include: REGIONAL: We Happy Few: The Dog in the Manager; 1st Stage Theater: One Man, Two Guvnors; Faction of Fools: Don Juan; Annapolis Shakespeare Company: The Schemings of Scapin, The Tempest. Charlie has also worked with Constellation Theatre Company, Maryland Shakespeare Company, National Players, and Charleston Stage Company.
